Our History
Lundeby Evergreens has been in business for over 50 years and was founded in 1967 by Iver and Shirley Lundeby. Originally from Cando, ND, the family expanded the business in the 1970’s to the Lundeby homestead. Eventually, they moved the business entirely to where it is now located in the Sheyenne River Valley, South of Tolna, ND.
The company is owned and operated by Brandon Lundeby, Iver’s grandson.
Our Nursery
We grow a wide variety of Northern Hardy Evergreens.
Our Tree Farm stretches across approximately 100 acres and grows over a dozen variety of trees. we are proudly one of the largest wholesale evergreen operations in the MIdwest.
Lundeby Manufacturing
During the growth of Lundeby Evergreens, Iver and Fred Lundeby realized there was a need for quality
nursery equipment, so they designed and built the first Lundeby Plant Lifter
In 1980, Lundeby Manufacturing was established, which produces specialty
nursery equipment. Today Lundeby Plant Lifters are used throughout the United States and many foreign countries, including Canada and Mexico.
